ok well we had a complaint in my money making guide, the writer said we should have woodcutting in the guide. i repsonded, i was going to make a seperate woodcutting guide, and now, here it is!
well first, we need to start off with axes. the axe you need to start off with is a Bronze axe. first start buy cutting ordinary trees, found basically all over runescape. use a bronze or iron axe for these. i suggest iron. well id cut these until atleast lvl 10, so when u go to cut oak, you get more faster. oak trees are level 5 but always get 5 levels above so u can get the logs faster. from oaks you get anywhere from 2 logs, to a full inventory. sometimes i wont have to swap trees and other times im all over the place. oaks are a little frusterating. but, cut oaks until level 35. then you can use an Adamant axe. once level 35 you can go cut willows, i suggest by the draynor bank. most popular willow location. remember willows only grow by water. a good member place to cut willows is the barbarian outpost. tons of willows, not alot of people, and a deposite box in the outpost. now keep cutting willows until about lvl 50. then id go to seers village and cut maples. theres alot of maples out back and front of bank. now maples and willows dont sell for much, but they're good xp. now you should be able to use a rune axe. actually you should be able to use one a level 41. well id keep cutting maples until lvl 60-63. but inbetween 45-50 you can cut teak and mahogany which are hard to find. like i think teak is only found in the Tai bu Wanni village and mahogany are only found on the fremminnik isles. like etceteria and so forth. but anyway, these logs are great for trianing construction. it costs alot to make them into planks though, 500 for teak and 1000 for mahogany. but once your level 63 or so, you can chop yews. yews are very big, but very rare. themost popular FTP spot is behind varrock castle. from there, you can sell full inventory at G.E., and bank money then go back. but thats the most popular, and most crowded. now at lvl 61 you can use a dragon axe. these sell for about 1.6-1.8M so id use a rune for a while unless you have that kinda money. now where i cut yews is the gnome stronghold. theres 3 yews right next to bank near agility course. now, theres also a tree patch there as well. so if you wanna plant a yew, youll have your own private tree all to yourself. now once you get 75 woodcutting your ready for magic. oh and i forgot, yews sell for about 418gp each. so about 18k a load. now magics. these are the rarest. but msot expensive. these sell for 1.1-1.3k each. so theres a great profit for these. these are found near the mage training arena in Al Kharid. i cut those there then bank in arena bank. theres some at the seers church, and a few spread around the countryside like near legends guild or other random places. for these id suggest a dragon ax. and id cut yews until level 80. because then, youll have alot of money for dragon ax, and youll be able to cut magics alot easier. now thats about it for my woodcutting guide. hope it helped you! see you next time on Talk RuneScape With Brom8889!
