Okay now that i have gotten a lot more on my site, now everythings going to be posted every 5-7 days. I"ve finally gotten the hang of this and i am now ready to be getting everything you send in. now the past 2 weeks ive only gotten 1 , count it 1, email question and no one to answer the trivia, please start writing in and taking the trivia. i also have links and other fun things posted on the sidebar. now on to the show.
Updates: Jagex has made some useful RuneScape ecomnomic changes. they changed how items are dropped, to be more specific lets say bounty worlds, they replaced PVP items on drop tables to more genaric items, you can even get slayer items from drops, varying on the item, like they added loot drops which are drops worth large sums of money from slayer, which you can sell to mandrith in Edgeville Dungeon or his brother Nastroth in lumbridge, he only appears in PVP worlds. and on the forums alot of people have asked.and jagex has corresponded, no poisend items will be put on drop tables. but with PVP it is still possible to get the items removed from drop tables. and another update, the bounty hunter crater now holds, lesser demons, greater demons, a range of skeletons, and hellhounds. this is to a small percentage of these slayer creatures. ok now i made a comment in my last post about the gravestones, i was a little blunt about it because i didint have the full details. you gravestone, will now show up on the world map and as always you will have a time limit to get to it. another cool and safer feature is you can get your stuff back, and if your in say, God Wars Dungeon, the grave will be teleported to the entrance of the dungeon. so these updates are VERY helpfull ( gravestones more than PVP) but i'm sure these updates will be great to help us in game play, open up a range of items you can get from slayer and PVP and a range of things you cant use. Thats it for this weeks updates!
now lets move on to the town of the week. This weeks town of the week is somewere myterious, not very many people go there, and only few aspire to complete the mission the freminnik cheiftain appoints you to delivier among this myterious island refered to as MoonClan Isle. this town is not well known, but many people have heard of it. you must begin Lunar Diplomacy quest by talking to the Fremminnik cheiftan in the longhall of rellekka to gain acess to this isle. first, to get to it you must start the quest, then help the captain of a ship to find his barings and remove the jinx on his ship to get to this island (all part of Lunar Diplomacy) once you get to this island you can buy Moonclan robes for about 3-4k for full. they arent great protection but good for running around in. and off the record they go great with a woodcutting skillcape. so, there is also a bank, a genral store, and a magic shop. once you exit the towns fenced in perimiters, there is a flax feild to the north and south, the one to the north is closest to the city gates but beware of lvl 111-112 Suqah's the ones to the south use melee, and to the north, they can use Ice Barrage which freezes you in a cube of ice for 20 seconds and takes about 20 hp. once you go south you can pass the suqah's then go east once you pass a bridge that leads to what looks like and old destroyed stone home of some sort, then you can get to the oreienmancer(not 100% sure on spelling of name) but there, there is an alter which you can craft astral runes at or swap your spell book to lunar spells, both after completion of Lunar Diplomacy. the Oreienmancer also gives you supplies to enter the dream realm using the cerimonial fire pit in the center building of the isle. basically you enter your own dreams. its pretty trippy to be honest. north of the bank is a small arena/pen, theres a giant house in there, with chicken legs, yes i know its silly but shes a silly mage. enter the chicken house and you can buy elemental staffs and runes including astrals and laws. across from the bank, are the clothing shop which sells moonclan robes (not to be confused with Lunar Robes which YOU make during the quest) and the genral store. remember that you MUST carry a Seal of Passage given to you by the rellekka Cheiftain in order to talk to anyone in this town. this is still required after completion of quest. also there a Rune Essence mine to the north-east. this is not a very exciting town by any means but there are nice people, intresting shops, and the people dont walk, they float around. once you enter the isle you'll be motivated the finish the quest! so enjoy the town and its people!
Note: i post a map of the Town of the Week under the runescape world map on to the left. this will be posted every week.
now, the monster of the week, to go along with the Lunar isle is, the Suqah mentioned in the description of the lunar isle. these creatures look sort of like cave trolls bred with a daggonith. gray skin and all. the Suqah's are lvl 111-112 and some use magic and melee. they drop the prized Suqah hide used to make Lunar Robes. they give good training but are sort of hard to kill useless you have a whip or anything above. to get the hides required for the quest i used about 20 sharks. and thats for about 16-20 kills. they are still good training, stay away from the Suqahs on the northern part of the island because they use Ice Barrage which freezes you in a cube of ice for 20-30 seconds, takes 20+ hp, and they still attack and gang up on you while frozen, you be frozen even while you already are frozen, and this will take even more HP. Other than dropping Squah hide, big bones, and a few coins, im not sure what else they drop. the mage weilding ones drop runes, but not very many. so go out and see what they drop!
ok time for veiwer mail. i have 2 questions this week.
Bald chicken28 writes: Dear brom8889, your money making guide really helped, i made 100k in about and hour and a half with swamp toads! how did you find out about these?
i respond: well honestly i was getting ingreidients for Gnome Cooking and i decided to price check the Toads, from there, i pretty much got going from then on.
Enonimous writes: in your money making guide why didn't you have anything about Woodcutting? i think its a good way to make money
i respond: well i was saving the Woodcutting for my WoodCutting guide, i agree if you can get 28 yews in udner 4 mins, its a great way to get money, but for you i'd recomend the swamp toads. try it for a while and then see if you go back to yews. you get about as much money as yews in 1 inventory. i think you get like 1.5-2k less and inventory but it moves alot faster, i make 50k in about 30-35 mins with toads. so go try it for yourself.
well this is about it for this weeks post. keep checking the site for money making or skill guides. these come out seperatly from the weeks post. hope you enjoyed this weeks post!
