Talk RuneScape! Week 1

So, this is the first offical post of "Talk RuneScape with Brom8889" first id like to say, im going to be linking my friend, Dirtywork11's blog to mine. his will be up with-in the next week or two and you'll be able to visit another RuneScape discussion forum! now since we don't really have too many veiwers yet, id like to start off with updates.
First update in the recent week is the new "Rest" function under the "Run" icon. basically if you run out of run energy, you can click rest, you cross your legs, sit down, relax, and your run shoot up back to 100% in under 20 seconds! this is great for Wilderness PKers. also another update is they enhanced the graphics on the spellbook. now the animations to display your spells is alot more readable, and a little more entertaining to look at. well thats about all the MAJOR updates for this week, lets move onto the "Town of the Week."
Imagine a dark, hostile new realm. you just helped a preist restore the sacred waters flowing benieth, you step through a portal, you find yourself in a town of werewolves. down the trail is intimidating Castle of Doctor Fenkenstrain! and following it more... leads to the tombs of long lost warriors. if your imagining this place right, your imagining Canifis in the land of Morytania. this town has alot to do. but you must finish the Preist in Perils quest to gain access. first, the town has a bank, an inn, a few shops, and alot of dead things and werewolves. this town is great for training the Slayer skill. because the slayer tower rises to the north. also there is the infamous port phasymastis. this ghost town will lead you on great adventures. and you can even diguise yourself as a ghost. once your leave the port you head into the mort myre swamp. if your follow this swamp long enough you'll find hunter areas, ghasts, and snails to make the very ammusing "snelm" (snail shell helmet). but once you get to the farthest reaches of morytania, you reach... Burgh De rott. this sickley plague infested town isnt what the main attraction is... Igive you The Barrows! this grassy outcropp holds the tombs of the fabled Barrows brothers, Guthan, Verac, Torag, Karil, Ahrim, and Dharok. each grassy knoll is tomb to one of the brother. take a spade, dig at the top of hill... search the tombs of the brothers...and be shocked!
time for the monster of the week! this weeks monster is the Abbysal Demon. this creature is found at the top level of the slayer tower. you must have 88+ slayer to kill it. you must keep auto retaliate on because it teleports you, and itself around the room. its lvl 120-125. and has over 110 hitpoints. if you kill it you MIGHT get one of the most popular weapons in RuneScape... The Abyssal Whip! the whip sells for about 1.4-1.6M on the G.E. but its also a great weapon... it would be even greater if it trained strength not just attack, defence, and shared!
Well, since we didnt get any mail or comments i guess this is the end of this weeks post. im disapointed with you guys! send stuff in! so maybe we can have better discussions and stories. im open for ideas about monsters, towns, Etc. of the week. now send stuff in, tell your friends, and keep reading Talk Runescape with Brom8889. Brom8889----out!
